Request a lower floor if carrying heavy luggage, as there's no elevator and stairs can be steep.

The unique charm of this hotel lies in its classic Nineteenth Century Town House design, featuring an impressive central staircase that adds character. Although the rooms are compact, they come equipped with necessary comforts, like a functional fan and windows that open fully for fresh air.
While the atmosphere is characterized by old-world charm, the lack of a lift for the four flights of stairs can be quite a workout, especially when carrying luggage. The furniture feels very much like a throwback to the 50s and 60s, with some dated fixtures. the bathroom setup lacks sufficient space for toiletries, making it a bit inconvenient. It's important to note that guests will need to leave their room key at the desk whenever they exit, which may feel a bit odd.

The staff was great, especially Waleed the receptionist, who helped me check in early, like a real lifesaver. My bathroom was decent with a powerful shower, Finally some good pressure when washing off the work grime.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but it was still acceptable.

Really loved my stay, especially the quiet balcony room! Location is just a few steps to the nearest metro. Tiny but comfy, and clean towels awaited every day. Felt like I was living in a fairy tale, no complaints at all.

The room we had was spacious with high ceilings and a comfy mattress, which made our stay enjoyable. The location was great for visiting nearby attractions, which was a big plus for us. the lack of air conditioning and poor shower water pressure made things a bit uncomfortable, especially during the warm weather. Despite these issues, the staff's friendliness and the cleanliness of the room were appreciated.

it was in a really great part of the city, and i loved everything in the area. the bed was comfy and our room was clean with good air conditioning. staff were super lovely and very helpful, which made our stay nice. location is awesome, lots of sights within walking distance or a quick tube ride. for a group stay, it had a lot of charm.
the room was really small, and there were lots of stairs with no lift which was kinda annoying. also, there's no breakfast which was a letdown for us.

I experienced clean en-suite facilities and daily fresh towels during my stay. The location was convenient with easy access to public transport. Staff members were helpful, and I appreciated the extra heaters provided in the room. It was a relief to have clean bedding and a good shower after long days of exploring.
There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom that disturbed sleep. Climbing to the fourth floor with a toddler was tough due to the absence of a lift. breakfast was not available, which was a downside for us.

Family with children looking for a clean spot
We had a room almost at the top of the building with a comfy bed and extra blankets if needed. Breakfast was as stated, continental, lots of choices, really hit the spot in the morning.
Price was a bit steep but still reasonable for what we got.

Great stay in a fab location
I stayed for 1 night here and it was a solid experience! The location is super handy, just a stroll from Notting Hill Gate tube, and there are loads of cute cafes around. The room was clean and comfy, even had a good size bathroom. The only bummer was that it felt a bit basic overall, but it worked out fine for me!
